What to look at

A year of a masjid, in one console

• The dashboard

  Gifts this month, donors, cash and bank, the year’s surplus, and charts of giving and spending.

• Donors

  Forty donors, each with every gift they gave, by fund and by method, and their giving statement.

• The books

  Every gift already posted, a year of bills, and statements that check themselves.

• The madrasha

  A weekend school and a hifz class: the register, lessons, homework, attendance, and fees with what each family owes.

• HR and payroll

  Staff and their hours, pay runs with paystubs, and the source deductions remitted to the CRA.

• The member app

  A member’s phone: prayer times, what’s on, her giving and pledge, and her son’s classes and homework.

• The kiosk and the wall screen

  In the console, Kiosks and Displays show a preview of each screen with the masjid’s own funds and prayer times.

• The website

  The masjid’s own public site, drawn from what the office keeps: prayer times, what’s on, how to give, and a contact form into the console’s Messages.

• CRA compliance

  The board and its terms, minutes approved and locked, policies with their review dates (two overdue), and activities with one flagged for the board to watch.

• Grants

  A grant the masjid holds, with a milestone done, one overdue and its reports to come; an application waiting on the funder; every deadline in one list.

The demo is shared by everybody who visits, so it only reads: any button that would change something is refused. Its donors, children and staff are invented — any likeness to a real person is chance.
